Well organised trail rides take you through some of Israel's most beautiful countryside and nature trails. Riding through the wildest of countryside, our qualified instructors will point out the major places of interest including nearby archaeological sites, historical settlements and local wildlife native only to the area.

Ramot Ranch takes full advantage of its unique location, the Golan offers an endless selection of trails, an opportunity to ride for hours on end without having to cross roads, villages or private lands. The Golan is the only part of Israel with such wild open spaces, we highly recommend exploring the Golan on horseback as a way of meeting the locals and tasting the local atmosphere.

 

The length of the treks vary according to bookings and the personal wishes of every guest. We ride only in small groups with each trek being accompanied by at least one qualified instructor. All our horses are 'home grown', born and bred at the Ranch and personally trained by Uri and his staff. For beginners we recommend the one or two hour treks, giving you just enough time to experience the magical world of horse riding without the aching bones the following morning. For the more adventurous and/or experienced riders, we offer longer treks lasting from 4 hours to a number of days or even weeks.

Before every ride our instructors will give a small demonstration and explanation so that you will feel comfortable on your horse.
