The ranch offers a wide selection of activities and services suited to both tourists visiting the area for a short period of time and also to horse professionals looking to improve their equestrian skills or stable their horse or foal for longer periods.
Uri Peleg personally overseas the training of all young horses brought to the ranch, basic training for a young horse usually takes between 6-8 weeks with an official handover to the owner at the end of this time. Here in Ramot Ranch we believe in taking small, slow steps with much repetition enabling the horse to understand the basic codes whilst at the same time preventing any stress or fear. In addition Uri specialises in correcting behavioural problems in older horses and counselling riders with communication problems with their horse.
The ranch offers livery services to horse owners looking to keep their horses in their natural environment. All our own horses live in large open pastures and the livery horses are treated to the same standard of care and attention. Checked and fed extra dry feed on a daily basis. Ramot Ranch is the Northern branch of the Wingate College Centre for Horse Riding and Training, running half year and full year courses for people wishing to become riding instructors and teachers. These programmes give Northern residents the unique opportunity to receive their instructors qualification without having to travel long distances to the centre of the country.
Trail rides are available for both experienced riders and beginners, ranging from one hour to a number of days or even weeklong adventures.
